Daniel L. Summers

     Daniel L. “Dan” Summers, 43, husband of Ruth M. (Manwiller) Summers, of Loganton, PA passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Jersey Shore, PA.

     Born in Jersey Shore, PA on October 7, 1982 he was the son of Michael and the late Janet (Bower) Summers.

     He was a 2001 graduate of Walnut Street Christian School, a 2003 graduate of Davis College, Johnson City, NY with an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies and a 2011 graduate of Cedarville University, Cedarville, OH with a Bachelor’s Degree in History.

     Ruth and Dan were wed on May 22, 2010 and were married for over 15 years.

     Dan was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Reading, PA and attended High Point Baptist Chapel of Birdsboro, PA and the Calvary Baptist Church of Jersey Shore, PA.

     Earlier in life Dan enjoyed playing soccer and playing the guitar for Worship services.  However, his greatest joy was spending time with his son, especially playing video games.

     In addition to his mother he was predeceased by a brother, David.

     Along with his wife and father he is survived by a son, Titus.

     The funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 @ 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson St., Jersey Shore, PA with Pastor Jeffrey Howell officiating.  A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of the service.  Please omit flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defray expenses.  Final Interment will be held privately in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rosecrans, PA.
